Conference Abstract Award

Recognizing Outstanding Research Related to the CNS Thematic Conference Topic

The Conference Abstract Award recognizes an outstanding abstract related to the 2027 CNS Thematic Conference topic, Advances in Nutrition and Women’s Health.

This award will only be presented when one or more eligible abstracts relevant to the thematic topic are submitted for consideration.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Conference Abstract Award for Outstanding Research Related to the CNS Thematic Topic:

• The submitted abstract must be relevant to the 2027 CNS Thematic Conference topic, Advances in Nutrition and Women’s Health.
• The applicant must be a graduate student, post-degree dietetic intern or medical resident. Individuals who already hold a PhD are not eligible.
• Both the applicant and their supervisor must be current CNS members in good standing at the time of abstract submission.
• The applicant must register for the full conference in person as a student delegate.
• The applicant must enter the competition at the time of abstract submission by selecting the Conference Abstract Award on the abstract submission form.

Selection & Award

A committee appointed by the CNS President and Awards Chair will select the recipient of the Conference Abstract Award from the eligible abstracts submitted for consideration.

The award will be presented during the CNS Annual Conference and includes a monetary award and a framed certificate or plaque.
