Undergraduate Abstract Award

The Canadian Nutrition Society (CNS) Undergraduate Abstract Award is given for the highest ranked abstract submitted by an undergraduate student.

To be considered for this award, the applicant must:

• enter the competition at the time of abstract submission and must indicate on their form that they would like their abstract to be reviewed for the CNS Undergraduate Abstract Award. 
• be an undergraduate student at an eligible institution at the time of abstract submission. Graduate students are not eligible.  
• both the applicant and their supervisor must be current CNS members in good standing at the time of abstract submission.  

A committee, appointed by the CNS Awards Chair, will make the selection for the recipient of the Undergraduate Abstract Award based on the results of a review and ranking process.  

The Award will be presented at the CNS Annual Conference. The award package consists of a monetary award, and a framed certificate.
