Undergraduate Abstract Award

The Canadian Nutrition Society (CNS) Undergraduate Abstract Award is given for the highest ranked abstract submitted by an undergraduate student.

To be considered for this award, the applicant must:

• Submit an abstract by the January 31, 2025 deadline, and indicate on the submission form that you wish to have your abstract considered for the CNS Undergraduate Abstract Award. For more details, please click here to view our Call for Abstracts
• Applicants must be undergraduate students at an eligible institution at the time of abstract submission. Graduate students are not eligible.  
• Applicants must be current CNS members in good standing, and their supervisor must also be a CNS member in good standing. Memberships can be purchased or renewed HERE. All memberships expire on December 31, 2025.

A committee, appointed by the CNS Awards Chair, will make the selection for the recipient of the Undergraduate Abstract Award based on the results of a review and ranking process.  

The Award will be presented at the CNS Annual Conference. The award package consists of a monetary award, and a framed certificate.
