Earle Willard McHenry Award for Distinguished Service in Nutrition

This prestigious award is given annually in recognition of distinguished service in the field of nutrition by a Canadian or Canadian-based individual. The award is given for merit in teaching, in inspiring students and colleagues, in providing leadership through professional associations leading to progress in nutrition, in giving administrative or material support towards the development of outstanding nutrition / nutritionally-oriented programs, in research achievement.

In making your nomination, please provide the following:

• Details of specific contributions, including rationale for why you deem the nominee as meritorious
• A biographical summary (biosketch, and/or C.V.) to assist with the citation and award presentation

NOTE: CNS Membership is not required of the nominee for this award, but will be viewed as an asset.

The award consists of a plaque and monetary award.

Nominations may be made by anyone and are open to all, but preference will be given to members and supporters of CNS. An anonymous committee, appointed by the Canadian Nutrition Society, will recommend the selected recipient of the Earle Willard McHenry Award. The Award will be presented at the CNS-SCN Annual Conference.  Please see the conference program for details on award presentations and lectures.
