Young Investigator Award for Outstanding Research

This annual award is made available to a Canadian or Canadian-based individual who received their last academic degree not more than 15 years before the nomination deadline for the year in which the award is to be offered, and who has made an outstanding contribution to research in nutrition.

In making your nomination, please provide the following:

NOTE: CNS Membership is not required of the nominee for this award, but will be viewed as an asset.

The award consists of an opportunity to present a short acceptance talk to the conference delegation, be presented with a plaque,  and a monetary award. The Award will be presented at the CNS-SCN Annual Conference. The recipient will also have the opportunity to present a longer lecture during a webinar to be scheduled following the conference. Please see the conference program for details on award presentations. 

Nominations may be made by anyone and are open to all, but preference will be given to members and supporters of CNS. An anonymous committee, appointed by the Canadian Nutrition Society, will recommend the selected recipient of the Young Investigator Award for Outstanding Research.
