The Canadian Malnutrition Task Force is pleased to announce the new Subjective Global Assessment Video Collection©. This must have tool will help you get started with assessing malnutrition in adults.

With an introduction by Dr. Khursheed Jeejeebhoy and featuring Dr. Leah Gramlich and registered dietitians from Alberta Health Service-Nutrition Services, there are four videos featured in this collection:

Part 1: SGA Techniques
Includes assessing nutrient intake, weight changes, symptoms, functional capacity, metabolic requirements and physical examination (appx 16 minutes)

Part 2: SGA in Action
Demonstrates how the SGA techniques can be applied through a series of four case studies with varying degrees of malnutrition risk (appx 17 mins)

Part 3: Frequently asked questions
Listen to SGA experts respond to the most commonly asked questions from clinicians that use SGA (appx 18 mins).
