The 2016 Workshop explored the theme: International Partnerships to Align Health Agendas and Research. Workshop objectives included:
- Illustrate partnerships that align food, nutrition and agriculture research agendas within and between countries
- Encourage greater collaboration and partnerships in research on the impact of diet and lifestyle on health and its connection with agriculture
- Support a culture of international collaborations and alignment to support food, nutrition and agricultural research, and facilitate the dissemination and translation of research results to inform public health and policy
