2016 Nutrition Month Campaign
This year the Dietitians of Canada (DC) is challenging Canadians to Take a 100 Meal Journey by pledging to make a small change to their eating habits and to stick with it one meal at a time. Throughout March DC will be inspiring you with ideas to make a small change, supported by practical strategies to help make it stick.
Did you know? -- Half of Canadians (52%) over the age of 20 live with a chronic disease like diabetes or heart disease and four out of five are at risk, with diet and lifestyle being major factors. DC is determined to see a reduction in these numbers. Canadians consume almost 100 meals each month. If everyone just picks one small change, and practices it over the next 100 meals, we would be off to a great start!
