We are seeking a Permanent Full Time Clinical Dietitian | Critical Care at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.

What will you work on?
The Clinical Dietitian | Critical Care works collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team and assesses critical care patients for optimal nutrition support utilizing advanced clinical technology. Other responsibilities include providing recommendations to the medical team regarding route of nutrition (such as enteral vs. parenteral) and composition of most appropriate nutrition support and vitamin and mineral supplementation, based on the current critical care practice guidelines and best practices, developing nutrition support regimes and monitors patients on a regular basis for continued appropriateness, tolerance and safety, and providing education sessions related to nutrition support for health care professionals including students and interns from all professions and acts as a clinical resource for dietitians, students and other health care professionals. You will also initiate the development of, and participates in, nutrition-related research projects and participate in the evelopment of nutrition-related policies, procedures and guidelines for critical care areas.
