Regular Professor - Nutrition
Discipline: Nutrition
Functions: teaching, research, community service and instructional leadership
Requirements:
- Hold a Ph.D. in a field related to nutrition or in another relevant discipline;
- Be a member of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ);
Experience:
- Demonstrate excellent ability to deliver high-quality university-level teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels;
- Have an outstanding record of scientific publications;
- Show proven or potential ability to secure research funding;
- Contribute to the advancement and promotion of nutrition within scientific and professional communities, as well as in society at large;
- Possess a solid understanding of educational and training issues related to the practice of nutrition in Quebec;
- Demonstrate interdisciplinary experience or collaboration with clinical or community settings.
Asset:
- Experience in academic or administrative coordination;
- Postdoctoral experience;
- Interest in developing a research program that complements the activities of UQTR's Cell Signaling Research Group (Groupe de recherche en signalisation cellulaire – GRSC), whose research areas include metabolism,immunology, stem cells, reproduction, oncology, and neural plasticity.

Note: The Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur du Québec has authorized the establishment of a Bachelor's program in Nutrition at UQTR.

- A minimum of three scientific articles (submitted or published).
