- Stipend Amount: The current Per Course stipend for this appointment is specified in Appendices H and I of the 17th Collective Agreement.
Course Description: A study of teaching and learning theory as these apply to food and nutrition-related communications when working with individuals, groups, and the public. Topics covered include application of program planning theory and client-centeredness in assessing needs of target audience(s), effective oral, written and interpersonal communications, resource development to align with learning needs, and evaluation of communication approaches.
Qualifications: Minimum Master's degree in Nutrition or related field. Registered Dietitian or other regulated health profession required. Required: Experience teaching communications theory or minimum five years of applied practical experience relevant to communications in nutrition and dietetics.
