She was a founding member of the Sherbrooke Research Centre on Aging and a researcher for over 27 years working with colleagues across the nation to improve the health of older adults. Hélène was also a founding member of The Canadian Malnutrition Task Force in 2010, where she helped us to realize our dream of bringing malnutrition and its importance to health to the forefront. As a nutrition research leader in Canada, Hélène also directed the pivotal NuAGE study and was integral to the launch of the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging.  Along the way Hélène trained many undergraduate and graduate students, inspired colleagues, and shared her passion for promoting the health of older adults.
