Amanda Sullivan, M.H.Sc., RD obtained her undergraduate degree in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph and has a Masters of Health Science in Community Nutrition from the University of Toronto.  She is currently a Senior Nutrition Project Coordinator in the Nutrition Regulations and Standard Division in the Bureau of Nutritional Sciences of the Food Directorate at Health Canada and has over 13 years of experience working on high profile ministerial priorities under the Healthy Eating Strategy.  Most notably she was a key member of the team responsible for amendments to the nutrition labelling regulations and development of the front-of-package nutrition labelling regulations.  She has extensive knowledge of food and nutrition policy/regulatory development and recognizes the importance of stakeholder consultation and feedback to inform this process.
